Record-Setting Shakespeare Festival

Bravo! More than 1500 people attended a performance of “As You Like It” from July 24-26 during the seventh annual Shakespeare Festival presented by Douglas County Libraries.
Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch provided a gorgeous outdoor setting for the skilled performances by Theatreworks and, combined with beautiful weather, saw attendance for the festival soar to an all time high. In addition, there were close to 250 people at Midsummer Merriment, a family Elizabethan experience, on Saturday morning.
