S.H.O.U.T. Students Help OUT Douglas County
The purpose of this directory is to provide specific contact information for high school students in Douglas County to fulfill their community service requirement for graduation. At this time students must complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service to graduate. Students in the International Baccalaureate program are required to complete 150 hours of community service.
Each organization listed includes a description of types of opportunities available as well as a contact name and phone number or e-mail address. Once you find an opportunity you are interested in, contact the organization directly.
Before contacting any organization you find listed, please read our Tips For Volunteers and the Safety and Disclaimer Statement at the bottom of this page. Make sure that you have your schools required community service form to document completed service hours.

The Leadership Douglas County class of 2002 initiated this directory with assistance from Douglas County Libraries, The Douglas County School District and the Ponderosa SAinTs. The Douglas County Youth Initiative maintains this directory.
